The BY YOUR SIDE Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is responsible for assisting with evaluation, creation, and implementation of ABA therapy plans, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation, and training with family and staff. The BCaBA will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address all behavioral and skill acquisition needs of the clients.

The BCaBA is responsible for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions, read, analyze, and respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, and effectively present information to top management are essential skills.

This role operates in a professional and clinical environment with responsibilities that include regular lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

This is a full-time position with hours that vary based on client and business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Core duties include:

  • Enforcing standards for BCaBA to maintain high-quality care.
  • Ensuring ethical standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Assisting with initial evaluations and therapy plan development.
  • Maintaining comprehensive therapy plans with goals and progress evaluations.
  • Collaborating with staff and communicating with families.
  • Preparing reports for insurance and progress documentation.
  • Arranging parent meetings and providing training.
  • Participating in professional development activities.
  • Representing BY YOUR SIDE professionally at events.
  • Maintaining current certification and credentials.
  • Contributing to program development.
  • Participating in clinical support shifts and supervision documentation.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Continuing education in supervision (3 hours per cycle).
  • Completion of BACB Supervisor Training (8 hours).
  • Passing BACB experience standards module.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely and manage priorities.
  • Interest in working with children with autism.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
