Overview
Credible Health Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to join our growing team. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, establishing diagnoses, creating individualized service plans, and providing clinical oversight to ensure high-quality, Medicaid-compliant mental health services. The LPHA will collaborate closely with our QMHP staff, clients, and community partners to deliver targeted case management and skills training that promote client stability, self-sufficiency, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Biosocial/Psychosocial Assessments to gather a comprehensive understanding of client needs and histories.
- Perform Initial CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) Assessments to evaluate client’s mental health and well-being.
- Provide accurate diagnoses according to DSM-5 criteria.
- Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISP) / Treatment Plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
- Provide supervision and one-on-one guidance to Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for QMHPs to ensure they meet the required competencies and improve clinical skills.
- Oversee, monitor and approve the documentation of services in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with Medicaid and state regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in home community care practices, understanding the importance of integrating services within the client's environment.
- Strong background in individual group counseling techniques, with an emphasis on effective communication and rapport-building.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies relevant to social work practice.
- Experience in child family counseling, demonstrating sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by families.
- Familiarity with systems theory as it applies to social work interventions.
- Understanding of pediatric mental health issues, ensuring appropriate care for younger populations.
- Competence in medical documentation practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to mental health services.
- Ability to facilitate group therapy effectively, promoting engagement and positive outcomes among participants.
- Familiarity with Child / Adult Psychotherapy Treatment Planner and Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorder (DSM-5).

Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Licensed LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Texas
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to provide psychotherapy and counseling to children and families
- Familiarity with home and community care practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology and its application in patient care

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
