ADOS Assessor

(LPC or LCSW or above)

EMS of Virginia is seeking a skilled assessor who will complete assessments for those exploring an Autism diagnosis using the ADOS tool. ADOS Assessors focus on evaluating and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in individuals. They utilize a variety of assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and comprehensive information on an individual's developmental history, current symptoms, and overall functioning. EMS is seeking an individual who has been trained to complete the ADOS assessment.

Duties include:

  • Meet with clients in person to conduct observations and assessment
  • Complete assessment documentation in electronic health record (Lauris)
  • Review outcomes with parents, caregivers, and referral sources
  • Communicate with assessment and supervisory team about the process

Successful candidate will be available to complete 1-3 assessments per week to start, up to 20 hours per week. Scheduling will be flexible based on your availability, client need, and request for services. Work will occur in an office setting in Midlothian, Virginia. Pay is $35 per hour with opportunity for incentives based on performance. There is an opportunity for growth with this position, if desired, for the right candidate.
