Residential Service Coordinators (RSC) work directly with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to provide person centered support; promote confidentiality, privacy, human dignity, uniqueness, and physical and emotional well-being while supporting the individual to lead a self-directed life.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have completed all areas of required training with a competency score of 80% or above.
- Current in CPR training
- Must have negative TB or chest x-ray.
- Must meet all requirements of the Criminal Background checks.
- Must have the ability to interpret and instruct staff in the implementation of all plans: PCISP, Behavior Plan, Health Risk Management Plan, Medication Administration, and Seizure Management Plan.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and complete all required documentation and reports
RESPONSIBILITIES
· RSC will be in the office Monday through Friday and work remotely as necessary.
· Responsible for recording clock-in and clock-out times for each shift using the PCS clock-in application.
· Responsible for building and managing the scheduling of Direct Support staff across assigned homes. This includes covering and organizing coverage for holidays, vacations, sick leave, and other shifts as needed.
· Available as needed (PRN) based on requests from the administration.
· Responsible for ensuring staff implement all client plans, including Person-Centered Individual Support Plans (PCISP), Behavior Support Plans (BSP), Health Risk Plans, and Medication Administration.
· Communicate ongoing information/updates between DSP, Nurse, Administration, Case Manager, Behavior clinicians, Clients, and Guardians
· Train and supervise Direct support staff following the PCS training guidelines and onboarding outline.
· Create relevant documentation, which may include home leader reports, GER (General Event Reports), staff schedules, billing, employee performance reviews, staff improvement plans, and emergency drill reports.
· Participates in and coordinates employee training.
· Ensures all required documentation is descriptive and submitted after each scheduled shift.
· Verify that Medication Administration Records (MARS), bowel movement (BM) charts, sleep charts, and client goals are complete and accurate.
· Complete daily billing tasks and submit complete billing to the QIDP on the 16th and 30th of each month.
· Assign appropriate tasks to staff and ensure that tasks are completed in the clients’ homes
· Schedule and track all client DHI hours and ensure documentation is complete
· Conduct and document monthly home meetings with Direct support staff
· Ensure clients homes have adequate groceries, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products at all times.
· Responsible for all client money signed over, saving receipts from all transactions, and maintaining communication with the Financial Director
· Ensuring all clients bills are turned into the Financial director in a timely manner
· Transport all clients to scheduled labs, Dr. appointments, and communicating any updates or changes with the PCS Nurse
· If new client home location is needed RSC will assist in setting up utilities, heat, cable, etc…
· Assists with moving transitions needed for new clients or new home for existing clients
· The RSC adheres to all HIPAA regulations and promptly reports any violations to QIDP
· Complete other duties as assigned by Administration and QIDP
· Starting annual salary for RSC $33,800
· Annual Pay Increases are based on the Performance Evaluations.

Reporting Responsibility: This position reports to the QIDP/Administration
