GIFTED Healthcare – Education is hiring School-Based Social Workers for our full-time positions in Dearborn, Michigan for the 25/26 school year.

School Social Worker:

• Full-time | Monday–Friday, 36 hours/week
• $50 – $52 an hour
• Caseload: 40–45 students
• Elementary school setting
• On-site only
• Must have Michigan School Social Worker license & 310 letter approval (professional social work certification)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement intervention and prevention programs to assist at-risk students.
• Participate on school-based problem-solving teams and collaborate with community agencies to promote service accessibility and family inclusion.
• Help students improve academic, personal, and social functioning.
• Provide social skills, anger management, stress reduction, and other instruction for students with social/emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Offer short-term individual and group counseling; connect families with long-term or intensive counseling as needed.
