The Hangout Spot, Inc. is an after-school program located in Lebanon, TN where kids can come to unwind and enjoy arts and crafts as well as laser tag, karaoke, indoor basketball, video game room and so much more! We are seeking reliable and energetic Activities Counselors who enjoy working with children and ensuring a safe and fun environment. Hours: 2:30-6:00pm

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have reliable transportation
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Enjoy a busy environment
• Must be physically able to engage with children
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• Ability to work with children ages 5-13

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ENGAGE with children in their recreational areas to maintain a safe and fun environment
• Maintain a positive working environment with colleagues and director
• Ensure that your working area in the center is well-maintained and clean
• Arrive to work on time
• Demonstrate responsible, professional, respectful and ethical behavior
• Effectively work with other team members to address ongoing needs of students and the program.
• Must complete background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
