Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication regarding client progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and facilitate access to additional resources or services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems is preferred.
- A passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals through tailored behavioral interventions.
