Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in various settings.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavior changes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication regarding client progress.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and facilitate access to additional resources or services.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with medical records management systems is preferred.
  • A passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals through tailored behavioral interventions.
