Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate After-School Basketball Coach/Counselor to join our team! This individual will lead basketball sessions, encourage skill development, and ensure a positive and engaging experience for children aged 4-12. The ideal candidate will have a love for sports, strong leadership abilities, and a genuine passion for working with kids.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead after-school basketball sessions for children, teaching basketball fundamentals and sportsmanship.
Create a fun and inclusive environment where kids can develop basketball skills and teamwork.
Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
Encourage children’s participation in games and activities, adapting to different skill levels.
Assist with homework help and snack time as needed.
Communicate any behavioral concerns or incidents to parents and program managers.
Help set up and clean up basketball equipment and the activity space.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a sports or after-school program.
Strong basketball knowledge and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage groups of children in a structured and safe environment.
A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for teaching and mentoring children.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus but not required.
