- Under the supervision of the clinical supervisor and/or program supervisor, provide direct ABA services in a 1:1 and group settings utilizing the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Implement the skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals that have been prescribed by the overseeing clinical supervisor.
- Collect data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals every session.
- Maintain client data in the home by updating program data sheets within the required timeframe on our online data collection platform.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the overseeing clinical supervisor.
- Utilize safe and appropriate behavior modification strategies when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality based on HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Maintain and acquire ABA knowledge and skills by attending assigned staff trainings or meetings.
- Attaining and achieving position competencies in relation to role responsibilities.
- The Behavior Interventionist reports directly to Clinical Supervision Team.
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- CPR or BLS Certification Preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician Credential Preferred
- NPI Number Required
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Must maintain a professional appearance based on Diversify Bx’s dress code policy.
- Proficient in the use of technology (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet)
- Ability to implement clinical protocols.
- Must adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development in Applied Behavior Analysis to support job competency.
- Must be able to lift a max of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sittings, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location.
- Must have reliable phone access with internet capability.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites within 25 miles of your home address.
- California Driver’s License is preferred, if you do not possess a valid DL you will need to be able to guarantee commute to client’s locations using a HIPAA approved method of transportation.
- Insurance in good standing, with employee listed as a covered driver.
