Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III to join our team on a contractual 1099 basis. In this role, you will provide support and guidance during SUD groups of 2 hours or 3 hours on evenings and weekends. 2-hour groups pay a per diem of $150 per group and 3-hour groups pay a per diem of $200 per group. Your expertise will play a vital role in promoting health and well-being within our community.

Responsibilities

Provide group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery.
Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate behavioral change.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate clients and families about addiction, recovery resources, and coping strategies.

Requirements

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor eligible to practice in the state of Ohio.
Certification in addiction counseling or relevant licensure required.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
