Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III to join our team on a contractual 1099 basis. In this role, you will provide support and guidance during SUD groups of 2 hours or 3 hours on evenings and weekends. 2-hour groups pay a per diem of $150 per group and 3-hour groups pay a per diem of $200 per group. Your expertise will play a vital role in promoting health and well-being within our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery.
- Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate behavioral change.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and families about addiction, recovery resources, and coping strategies.
Requirements
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor eligible to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Certification in addiction counseling or relevant licensure required.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
- Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
