About Job

The Family Counselor for our Families Together Building Solutions (FTBS) Program provides services to families in Hillsdale County.


As the FTBS Family Counselor you will help families create solutions to prevent out-of-home placement for their children. You will meet with the family in their home for at least three hours a week at times convenient for them. There is no need to be in the office to complete documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mental or behavioral health related field.
  • State licensure commensurate with required degree (consideration given if currently in process of obtaining or ability to obtain).
  • One or more years experience in providing services to children and families. No experience if you have a master's degree.
  • Valid driver's license.
