About Job
360 Degree School Counselor will provide to students who experience difficulties in educational achievement because of social, emotional and adjustment in school-based mental health services. This is for an Elementary grade.
- · Serve as a liaison between school, client, home and community mental
- · Conducts mental health counseling services
- · Consult with teachers, administrators, and other staff regarding social, emotional, and behavioral
- Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies
- Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed
- Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.e. crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, dept meetings etc.)
- Support general ed students to help solve problems or develop functional skills related to the learning environment
Skills and Experience Required:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License
School Counselor endorsement
Master’s Degree in School Counseling
Effective positive interpersonal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- Pediatric Counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Professional Educator License (Required)
