About Job

360 Degree School Counselor will provide to students who experience difficulties in educational achievement because of social, emotional and adjustment in school-based mental health services. This is for an Elementary grade.

  • · Serve as a liaison between school, client, home and community mental
  • · Conducts mental health counseling services
  • · Consult with teachers, administrators, and other staff regarding social, emotional, and behavioral
  • Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies
  • Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed
  • Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.e. crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, dept meetings etc.)
  • Support general ed students to help solve problems or develop functional skills related to the learning environment

Skills and Experience Required:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License

School Counselor endorsement

Master’s Degree in School Counseling

Effective positive interpersonal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Pediatric Counseling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
