Overview
The Clinical Evaluator plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive assessments and evaluations for children and families. This position involves working closely with patients to determine if a child meets diagnostic criteria for ASD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in using the ADOS-2 to make diagnostic conclusions, while ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care in an outpatient setting
Duties
- Administer comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations that include administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2nd Edition, clinical interview with caregivers, and assessments of cognitive (WISC-V/ DP-4) and adaptive skills (ABAS-3).
- Conduct a clinical interview with parents/caregivers using a telehealth platform of your choice prior to the evaluation.
- Provide feedback to families in a clear and effective manner- typically the same day or within 48 hours.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Must be able to conduct 6-10 assessment monthly at an office located in Folsom.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited Clinical or Counseling Program
- Must hold a valid license as a Clinical Psychologist to practice in the state of CA.
- Have a valid NPI number.
- Willing to get credentialed through KPIM.
- At least 3 years prior experience conducting assessment for children and adolescents with ASD and Developmental Disabilities
- Expertise in the administration and interpretation of psychological evaluations, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2nd Edition.
