About The Position

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Counseling and Therapy: Provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients dealing with mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' goals and support their recovery process.
- Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and appropriate interventions to ensure client safety.
- Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system and community resources, ensuring they receive the best care and support available.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to provide holistic care and support to clients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Education and Prevention: Offer educational programs and workshops to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote prevention strategies.
- Ethical Conduct: Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling and therapy.
- Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
