We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our buildings and grounds. This includes managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and renovations, and implementing cost-saving measures.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Site maintenance – The Facilities Manager ensures that all Nova Behavioral Health facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal consideration.
 
Essential Functions
  • Develops, implements, and reviews regularly site-specific maintenance logs for each property
  • Inspects facility and equipment to determine the quality and safety of the facility and equipment, Identifies, troubleshoots/analyzes problems as they arise, provides solutions and initiate repairs.  (approximately 10%)
  • Repairs, replaces, removes blockages to restroom/kitchen facilities, plumbing systems and components (i.e. water, sewer and drain lines, valves, faucets, etc.)  (approximately 40%)
  • Replaces or updates inoperable or older building materials and appliances (e.g. motors, belts, pumps, windows, glass, sinks, doors, locks, cabinets, shelves, tile, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, etc.) (approximately 20%)
  • Hangs/patches drywall/sheetrock and paints structures and equipment (walls, floors, doors, ceilings, etc.)    (approximately 10%)
  • Lifts and moves furniture within and between buildings  (approximately 05%)
  • Monitor contractor performance  (approximately 05%)
  • Maintain current and accurate records and files  (approximately 05%)
  • Respond to 24-hour emergency calls to perform and/or coordinate emergency building or equipment repairs during off-duty hours. (approximately 2.5%)
  • Other duties as assigned.  (approximately 2.5%)
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
 
Minimum Education/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A minimum of five years of related experience.
