About Job

This part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support to high school students in a dynamic educational setting. The role involves working closely with 5-6 high school-aged students to develop and implement behavioral strategies and interventions, ensuring individualized educational goals are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting behavioral assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Consulting with teaching staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for and support students
  • Monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis
  • Providing guidance and training to staff to promote effective behavioral supports

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working with high school-aged students within educational or clinical environments
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to provide consultative services and participate effectively in IEP meetings

Location and schedule:

  • The position is based in Brockton, MA
  • Contract role for the school year (NSY)
  • Approximately 10-15 hours per month, allowing for flexible scheduling on a part-time basis
