About The Position
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated LSWs and LPCs to join our network of healthcare professionals. As an LSW/LPC contracted through our staffing agency, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, mental health centers, schools, and community-based programs. This flexible role offers the freedom to choose assignments based on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients' mental health, emotional, and social needs, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to address patients' mental health and emotional issues, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Advocate for patients' rights, access to resources, and social support services, including housing, financial assistance, and community resources.
Facilitate psychoeducation groups and workshops on topics related to mental health, coping skills, stress management, and wellness promotion.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in electronic health records (EHRs) or other designated systems.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited program.
Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state(s) of practice.
Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an LSW or LPC in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
