A K-12 school in King George, VA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the full school year. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in delivering psychological services to support students' academic, social, and emotional development across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and well-being
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
