We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist for a 55-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, beginning on Aug 18, 2025.
The role involves a Monday to Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts, focusing on comprehensive mental health care within a correctional facility setting.
Job Details Location: Arizona Start Date: Aug 18, 2025 LOA: 55 days Provider Type Needed: Clinical Psychologist Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 6 AM to 4:30 PM Responsibilities and Duties Maintain overall clinical responsibility for mental health programs at the facility.
Oversee mental health screenings and evaluations.
Conduct sick call and chronic care visits.
Perform rounds in all units.
Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes.
Coordinate and lead educational training activities related to mental health care.
Additional Information A background in correctional facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Must be licensed in Arizona.
Familiarity with the TechCare EMR system is essential.
