Our growing international case management company is seeking a highly organized and empathetic Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking support services across the globe.
As the Intake Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression, collecting essential client information, coordinating referrals, and ensuring seamless communication across our clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of incoming clients to understand their needs and determine appropriate services.
- Facilitate the intake process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and their families.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
- Provide support and resources to clients and their families, guiding them through the treatment options available.
Qualifications:
- Must have an LCSW or equivalent clinical degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working as an independent contractor is required.
- Strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience in mental health or substance use treatment settings is a plus.
- Willingness to work some evening and weekend hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
