About the role

  • In this position you will be working closely with a team of professionals in order to implement interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Our Behavior Technician team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

What you'll do

  • Receive thorough, paid training and ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Provide 1:1 therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults with ASD
  • Utilize natural environment teaching, prompting, behavior reduction techniques, and other ABA principles to support individuals in achieving independence
  • Collect, record, and summarize data using company-provided devices and cutting-edge technology
  • Collaborate with Case Supervisors and Case Clinical Directors regarding client progress and behavior tracking
  • Work across multiple caseloads and teams to provide 1:1 treatment to clients
  • Lead in behavior-support during instances of nonadaptive behavior that require a 2:1 ratio of staff to client
  • Collaborate with other members of each clients team
  • Attend necessary ongoing training and education as required
  • General knowledge and understanding of HIPAA compliance and adherence to its guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree and/or pursuing a career in the behavioral health field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental, behavioral, or intellectual disabilities preferred, or are planning to pursue a career in the behavioral health field and want to gain invaluable experience as well as mentorship from professionals in the field.
