About Us:
Apex Behavioral Health is an outpatient mental health program providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services. Our mission is to offer high-quality, compassionate care to adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APN/PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team 1 day per week. This role is focused on psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients in our outpatient mental health programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management sessions
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state and federal requirements
• Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APN) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
• Prior experience in mental health settings preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

• $80 – $150 per hour, depending on experience and degree
• 1-day-per-week schedule with potential for additional hours as the program grows
