About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in San Jose, CA. This role is essential in evaluating and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve greater self-sufficiency and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral and psychological evaluations for individuals and their families
  • Contribute to diagnostic reports and prescriptive plans
  • Participate as a core member of a multidisciplinary diagnostic and consultation team
  • Provide training and consultation to staff and affiliated professionals
  • Assist in program development and ongoing evaluation of services for the developmentally disabled
  • Prepare reports and documentation in a clear, concise manner
  • Participate in special duties such as conservatorship evaluations, competency assessments, and diversion plans

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed to practice by the California Board of Psychology
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with developmentally disabled populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and/or ability to arrange independent transportation

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of psychological principles and testing procedures
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including clients, families, and professional teams
