Summary of Responsibilities:

Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc. in partnership with the Children's trust is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LMHC) to work in our school health setting to provide behavioral services to children.

Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing all social work services as mandated under the School Health Program. Social work services will follow the guidance of Miami-Dade County Public School (M-DCPS) for Social Workers, Children’s Trust Guidelines and include behavioral health screening, assessment, and counseling services for students at risk for developmental and behavioral issues. Assists with screening for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and attend staffing meetings for students being considered for the ESE programs.

Details of Education and Skills:

Master’s Degree in Social Science field from an accredited learning institution.

Clear & Current Florida License (LCSW) or (LMHC)

Minimum one year pediatric /adolescent experience.

Must be able to be Credentialed as Provider for Medicare/Medicaid and other insurances. Deemed competent by agency training.

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent computer skills especially with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

SPECIAL REQUIRE MENTS:

Current BLS Certification

Current First Aid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
