Position: Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist
Looking for a part-time (with potential full-time) ABA therapist to provide services in home in Westfield, with potential additional hours at our center in Chatham Monday-Friday (up to 40 hours per week).

Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Provide behavior intervention services to children diagnosed with Autism and related disorders in the center, home, school, and in the community
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data
- Complete accurate treatment notes in a timely manner
- Strictly follow and enforce BACB guidelines
- Attend team meetings
- Motivate and encourage clients and staff
Critical Functions (may include but are not necessarily limited to):
- Be able to lift 25‐50 pounds
- Be able to run short distances, sit on the floor, bend down, squat and kneel, quick reflexes to block or prevent behaviors from occurring
- Must have access to own computer, tablet or smart phone in order to graph data and write session notes utilizing the CentralReach practice management platform
- Must have access to vehicle for transportation to clients’ homes or other locations throughout the service area (e.g., daycare, school or community outings)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or actively pursuing undergraduate degree in related field (i.e., psychology, early childhood education preferred but not required)
- RBT certificate or completion of RBT certificate within 60 days of hire date
- Completion of background check
- Completion of two professional reference checks
- Prior training in first aid or completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training within 30 days of hire date
- Demonstrate ability to learn and implement behavior intervention program(s) and behavior plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Demonstrate ability to communicate with multiple parents/family members.
