Community Liaison – Hospice (Long Beach & Torrance Area)

Full-Time | $90,000 - $100,000+ per year (Base + Bonuses)

Hello, my name is Mark and I am one of the owners of Agape Hospice in Torrance and Portland Oregon. If you know the hospice marketing industry in the LA area, you know how tough this business can be (I have been there)! We’re proud of how we’ve grown this company since 2014, delivering top-notch care and creating a great place for our team to work.

At Agape, we believe the relationship between the company and our employees is a two-way street—both sides need to be happy and invested! Because of this, I am going to remove the formality of my normal job postings, and be very honest and direct in what we are looking for. The below is our musts.

Strong technical knowledge of Hospice - Must be able to meet with patients and families and explain the details and benefits of hospice.
Strong Marketing background - Must be able to use their strong knowledge of the hospice benefit and put together a plan to increase the company's patient census.
Professional Presence - Must be friendly and personable and not give off a used car salesman vibe.
Must already have a book of business - Looking for a candidate who knows the industry and has contacts who can refer our company.
Buy-in! - I would like a candidate who is willing to jump in head first and be down for this company and is enthusiastic regarding their role of increasing our patient census, and providing great care.

About Us

At Agape Hospice & Palliative Care, we provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients and families across Southern California. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a talented and connected Community Liaison to help expand our reach and impact—specifically from Torrance to Long Beach.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Performance Bonuses: Lucrative referral bonus structure

What You’ll Do

Primary function is to increase Agape's patient census
Promote hospice services to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and physicians in your territory
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources in Long Beach and Torrance
Educate the community and healthcare professionals on hospice benefits and eligibility
Coordinate closely with our clinical intake and admissions teams
Identify and follow up on qualified leads and referral opportunities
Represent Agape professionally at community events, health fairs, and facility meetings
