Job Overview:

We are hiring a licensed Mental Health Coordinator for a full-time contract role in a correctional setting in California City, CA. This role involves delivering clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature to an incarcerated population. Applicants must be comfortable working in secure environments and have flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and screenings through interviews and record reviews
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and therapeutic support
• Maintain accurate documentation of all evaluations and treatments
• Uphold strict confidentiality standards at all times
• Utilize evidence-based counseling theories and practices appropriate to the population

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
• Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in California
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role
• Must be at least 18 years old
• U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance (expedited process available)
• ICE Clearance Screening Form must be submitted
• Must reside at least 70+ miles away from the facility
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) permitted during the contract period

Preferred:

• Experience working in correctional or forensic settings
• Valid drivers license (preferred unless otherwise required)
• Active AHA BLS certification
