YOUR ROLE AS A BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Owen Health Care in Springfield, NJ, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral support services to youth in need. By interviewing family members and conducting thorough analyses, you will develop personalized plans to address problem behaviors effectively. Your expertise in defining target behaviors and designing data collection systems will ensure accurate measurement and progress tracking. Through training sessions and ongoing supervision, you will guide staff members in implementing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans. It will be essential for you to record FBA and BSP for all cases on electronic health records (CYBER) on a quarterly basis.

Your attention to detail in recording and monitoring data, along with your commitment to continuous improvement, will contribute to the positive development of each individual under your care. Join us in making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Master's degree in healthcare/social service field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure in the State of NJ.
  • At least 2-3 years of management and/or supervisory experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
  • Proficient skills in completing comprehensive Functional Assessments and Behavior Support Plans (BSP).
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • People management skills and the ability to network and manage a team.
