The Psychology Associate I will administer and score psychological and neuropsychological measures for clinical and research purposes, and work within a multi-disciplinary team to improve quality of life for children with cancer. Principal responsibilities will be for ages 0 - 25. The incumbent will additionally assist the clinic Co-Directors with administrative duties as assigned.
Must possess and maintain registration as a psychology associate in Maryland to work under the license of a psychologist employed at the Institute.
EDUCATION
Master’s degree in psychology required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year of clinical experience required, which may be satisfied by externship training in psychology.

- Travel may be required from various offices across the KKI and JHU campuses throughout the day
- Administer and score a variety of neuropsychological assessment instruments that evaluate intellectual functioning, neuropsychological status, social and emotional functioning, and academic achievement for clinical purposes.
- Administer and score a variety of diagnostic and cognitive assessment instruments adhering to study protocols and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
- Assist with research project coordination and communications. This includes communicating findings to a multi-disciplinary team, scheduling and coordinating neuropsychology appointments, and implementing study protocols.
- Create and maintain neuropsychological database. Accurately code, verify, and enter data, including neuropsychological and medical variables.
- Organize and maintain participant records, ensuring accessibility, completion, and compliance with IRB standards.
- Enhance professional growth and development through case conferences, educational programs, in-service meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
- Monitor and ensure study supplies are properly stored and maintained.
