Job Duties:

  • Responsible for educating the community and our partners regarding our home health and palliative services.
  • Responsible for generating a targeted number of home health admissions per month from your territory.
  • Manage all accounts within defined territory which include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, physicians and other in a position to refer home health to Acacia.
  • Develop PreCall plan/Weekly Routing and visit 1015 accounts per day.
  • Developing and presenting educational information to community.
  • Prepare and conduct inservices with accounts.
  • Reports to the Director of Business Development and works closely with the Clinical Interdisciplinary Group, Intake Coordinator and office staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by DBD and leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Healthcare Sales Professional. Experience in home health, hospice required.
  • Two year experience in health care sales and marketing.

  • Must have reliable transportation, an insured vehicle and CA Driver License.
  • Must show considerable initiative, judgment and organizational skills to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Home Health and Palliative philosophies, industry, and regulations relevant to job responsibilities.
