Help Wanted: Outdoor Instructors
Lead, explore, and inspire through outdoor education!
Do you love the outdoors and enjoy working with youth? We're looking for enthusiastic and responsible Outdoor Instructors to lead nature-based activities, adventures, and environmental education sessions.
Position: Outdoor Instructor (Part-Time / Seasonal)
Location: Camp Kent Nature Center, Town Park, Kimball Forest Schedule: flexible Start Date: September 2025 Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
What You’ll Do:
· Lead groups of children (elementary and middle school grades) in outdoor activities such as archery, hiking, orienteering, team-building, survival skills, nature crafts, and environmental science
· Teach outdoor safety and foster appreciation for nature and conservation
· Manage group behavior with confidence and compassion
· Set up, take down, and maintain outdoor equipment and activity areas
Ideal Candidates Are:
· Passionate about the outdoors, nature, and youth development
· Experienced working with children or teens
· Comfortable leading groups in outdoor settings
· Energetic, reliable, and safety-conscious
· Wilderness First Aid or CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
