Healy Behavioral Services LLC has openings for a Behavior Technician working morning and/or after-school hours (flexible timings, between 9 am and 6 pm) with children on the autism spectrum.

We have well-paid openings at our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic in Porter Square, at 1950 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge. Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children and adolescents with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to improve their daily lives. This is a center-based position.

Duties:

  • Implement skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure effective treatment strategies
  • Provide support to clients in the clinic and out in the community
  • Monitor and document client responses to interventions

Skills:

  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with behavioral health and special education practices
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Proficiency in data collection for tracking client progress
  • Understanding of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
