Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the long-term care facility, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance, providing ongoing professional development.
- Manage budgets, contracts, resource allocation, and ensure financial effectiveness of the setting.
- Lead and motivate a team of care workers, taking a visible leadership role and fostering a positive, supportive work environment.
- Ensure delivery of quality, person-centered care, addressing residents’ unique physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents and adjust care plans based on changing needs and progress.
- Liaise and maintain partnerships with families, other community organizations, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of residents' care, including documentation in electronic health records.
- Address and resolve concerns or complaints from residents or their families in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor health and safety standards and oversee compliance with national care regulations.
- Organize activities for residents to promote engagement, independence, and well-being.
- Participate in admission and discharge processes, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
- Lead program improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.20 - $31.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
