We are looking for a Missouri licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, or counselor to work 40 hours per week at Job Corp as a Mental Health Counselor. A minimum of one year experience while independently licensed providing assessment, treatment, and/or counseling services to adolescents and young adults is required. Starting pay range is $51-53 per hour dependent upon licensure, experience, and education level.

This position is located in Excelsior Springs, MO. This position works on a contract serving a student population aged 16 to 23 providing clinical services including assessment and brief therapy. The clinician also provides training and education for students and staff, program development, and staff consultation.

This is an independent contractor position paid monthly. Work schedule can be Mon-Fri or 4 10-hour days.

Preference given to applicants with the following experience:

• Brief evidenced-based interventions (i.e., SFBT/SFT, CBT/CT, EMDR)
• Work with high-risk youth
• Trauma-focused approaches
