Early Intervention Specialist

Needed to start ASAP

Duties:
- Work with infants and toddlers with autism and other developmental disabilities and provide support and intervention services
- Provide patient care and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals
- Utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and special education
- Train and teach parents/family intervention strategies
- Collect data on individual progress and behavior to inform treatment plans

Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
- Proficient early childhood education techniques and early intervention strategies
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenging behaviors
- Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of medical terminology
- Experience working with infants and toddler
- Understanding of early intervention and behavioral health practices and interventions
- Must have at least a BA degree
- Skilled in data collection methods for tracking individual progress

A dependable vehicle is needed.

This is an independent contractor position (1099-NES)

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality services and support to infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities, including autism. The Early Intervention Specialist should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work effectively as part of a team. It is important that the Early Intervention Specialist builds a relationship with the parents/caretakers as well as the child.
