Overview
We partner with local schools, foster care shelters, and ABA centers in the Central Broward area. We are currently hiring for 1 contractor/per-diem pediatric BCBA or Psychologist to provide school consults and at-home parent coaching to families at a small private preschool in Fort Lauderdale for a growing, therapist-owned company.
We are looking for BCBA/parent coach to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of occupational therapist, speech therapists, and school teachers to:
-Observe student's behavior (directly and indirectly)
-Identify patterns and triggers
-Create simple, step-by-step plans to manage problem behaviors
-Educate/Train parents, caregivers, and teachers via face-to-face meetings (at home and/or school), virtual consults, and written communication
-Personalize behavioral strategies and support caregivers on how to respond calmly and consistently
This current position offers:
-Approximately 10-15 hours a week with the opportunity for growth
-Flexible scheduling during school/day-time and after-school hours
-Minimal travel, paid documentation time, and hybrid format (in-person and remote)
-Contract position at $55-$60/hour based on experience

Prior pediatric experience is required and being bilingual is a plus! We are looking for qualified, motivated, and ambitious therapists! Master’s Degree, State licensure, FDLE Level-II Background Screening, and National Board Certification required. Hourly rate is based on experience, level of competency, and insurance reimbursement.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of clients with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
- Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide support and guidance to families in understanding behavior management techniques.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with special education practices and regulations.
- Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance related to patient information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
