About Job
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a genuine passion for working directly with children and families.
At Blue Ridge Autism Care, our model is different—we do not employ RBTs, which means our BCBAs provide all direct services themselves. This allows for deeper, more meaningful relationships with clients and families, without the added responsibilities of staff training, supervision, or managing high turnover. You’ll focus solely on what you do best: providing high-quality, individualized behavioral support that creates lasting impact.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of children with behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the child’s development and learning goals.
- Train and supervise staff or paraprofessionals in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
- Stay current with research and developments in the field of behavior analysis.
