A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the 20252026 school year, providing specialized behavior support services to K12 students across a district in Altamont, TN. This in-person role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive behavioral outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) to evaluate student needs
- Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) tailored to individual students
- Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as appropriate
- Participate in various student evaluations in collaboration with school staff
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Licensure as required by state or district guidelines
- Previous experience working with K12 students in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
- Location: Altamont, TN (district-wide assignment)
- Schedule: 21 hours per week, MondayWednesday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Duration: August 5, 2025 May 23, 2026 (school year contract)
- Caseload: Approximately 510 students
- In-person attendance required; hybrid or virtual options not accepted
- Necessary materials and laptop will be provided
