Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families in navigating complex social systems. This role requires a deep understanding of behavioral health, child welfare, and crisis management, along with the ability to mentor and motivate clients towards positive change. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and support for individuals dealing with addiction, mental health issues, or crises.
• Facilitate access to resources such as Medicare, Section 8 housing, and workforce development programs.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in the delivery of social services.
• Collaborate with community organizations and service providers to enhance client support networks.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their personal growth and decision-making processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in social work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or crisis management is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in supervising staff and mentoring individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and workforce development strategies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.
