We are is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited college or university.
- Current, full, active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state or territory.
- Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology (this 1-year internship is part of an APA-accredited doctoral program).
- 2 years work experience in crisis response/brief interventions required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct psychological evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and evidence-based therapy.
- Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy.
- Perform clinical investigations and applied research in behavioral health psychology.
- Consult with medical personnel, military commanders, legal authorities, and school districts.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
- Participate in military-specific training, including PTSD, combat stress, and pre/post-deployment screenings.
- Expected to see 5 to 8 patients per day.
- Possible telework at the discretion of leadership.
