The OHSU Department of Psychiatry is part of the OHSU Brain Institute, and focuses on providing excellent clinical treatment to our patients, leading innovative research, and offering hands-on training for the next generation of psychiatrists. Required Qualifications
- Masters or PHD required in a related field and 5 years experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of experience.
- Five to seven years of demonstrated successful progressive management experience.
- Demonstrated ability in setting and achieving organizational goals
- Strong political skills and ability to interface effectively with internal and external groups
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in Education Administration.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage operational resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience in an academic institution preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Graduate Medical Education, Board Specialty Requirements and accreditation requirements for GME programs
- Knowledge and experience in LCME accreditation and Undergraduate Medical Education.
- Knowledge of affiliation agreement development and related processes.
