We are searching for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavioral stabilization services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities in the inpatient setting. Duties will include conducting functional behavioral assessments, providing behavior analytic interventions, writing behavior plans for use by RBTs and medical team members, implementing caregiver training, and consulting with multi-disciplinary medical teams. The BCBA will work in a fast-paced environment in conjunction with a Licensed Psychologist/BCBA and provide clinical supervision for RBTs in accordance with BACB supervision standards.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides clinical services for patients with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities and their family members in the inpatient setting.
- Conducts functional behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, of severe problem behavior
- Develops preliminary behavioral intervention and safety plans
- Monitors the individual’s behavior data and provides descriptive progress notes
- Collects and analyzes data from the medical record to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Delivers parent/caregiver training on behavior intervention plans
- Conducts treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the behavior support plan
- Co-facilitates clinical, motivational, and crisis intervention counseling with a licensed clinical psychologist as needed/
- Works collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary hospital teams to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients in the hospital setting.
- Provides clinical supervision for RBTs in accordance with BACB supervision standards.
- Demonstrates commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, teamwork, flexibility, and continued professional development.

Skills & Requirements
- Master's Degree in behavior analysis, education, or psychology required
- BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association required
- BCBA - Cert - BC Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required
- BHVAN - Lic - Behavior Analyst by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation required
- 5 years’ experience in assessment and treatment of severe behavior disorder required
