Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A licensed School Psychologist is needed to support K-12 students in Coal City, IL for the upcoming school year. This contract position involves working with elementary through high school age students within a structured school environment. The ideal candidate will hold valid licensure through the state board and be prepared to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for students across K-12
  • Provide counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Licensed School Psychologist credential per state board requirements
  • Experience working with both elementary and high school populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively

Position Details:

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Days: Monday through Friday
