A school-based mental health counselor position is available to support K-12 students in Saint Petersburg, FL, for the upcoming school year under a contract arrangement. This role focuses on providing crucial emotional and academic support within a dedicated educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling services addressing personal, academic, and social challenges faced by students.
  • Design and implement programs promoting students mental health and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop personalized education and support plans.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure in school counseling, including a PPS Credential.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations and familiarity with school-based mental health practices.
