Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Clinical Therapist (LMSW or LLMSW under supervision) to provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to a diverse caseload of clients. This is a contractual/independent contractor position, offering schedule flexibility and the ability to focus on clinical work while our administrative team handles billing, marketing, and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on your clinical strengths.
• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation within our HIPAA-compliant EHR system.
• Participate in supervision (for LLMSW) and case consultation meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with internal staff and external providers (e.g., schools, case managers, PCPs) to support client outcomes.
• Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards aligned with state licensing and NASW Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active LMSW or LLMSW license in the State of Michigan.
• For LLMSWs: Must be able to obtain supervision and follow Michigan’s requirements for limited licensure practice (we can provide supervision if needed).
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy in outpatient, school-based, or community settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain client caseload with professionalism and accountability.

• Training or certification in evidence-based modalities (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR, DBT, MI).
• Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and family systems.
• Comfort using technology for telehealth and electronic documentation.
