About Job
Description: Do you want to make a difference? Lodestar is seeking passionate, empathetic, and inspiring individuals to join our team in supporting youth ages 5 to 21 who are navigating mental health challenges. Our mission is to create lasting, positive change by equipping the young people we serve with lifelong skills, while fostering their connection to the community.
These clinical services aim to prevent the progression of behavioral health challenges through early identification and intervention. They may be provided to children and youth who require assessment but have not yet received a formal behavioral health diagnosis. Services include therapeutic communication and interaction designed to alleviate symptoms, address functional limitations, and modify maladaptive behaviors associated with diagnosed behavioral health disorders.
Services are also intended to provide treatment for children/youth with an existing diagnosis for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed to correct or ameliorate conditions identified during an assessment process, such as problems in functioning or capacity for healthy relationships.
