• Local: $60/hour

• Travel: $70/hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health support services in a public health setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to supporting individuals dealing with mental health, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Support patients in crisis and develop appropriate safety planning
• Advocate for patient needs and assist in resource navigation including housing, employment, and community support
• Participate in case conferences and discharge planning
• Provide referrals to psychiatric, substance use, or specialty services when required
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws and ethical standards
• Offer culturally competent and trauma-informed care

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active LCSW License in New York State

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of DSM-5, treatment modalities, and public behavioral health systems
