About Job

Job Number: 25-6895

Job Summary: Group Facilitators work in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. Group Facilitators primarily provide skills training in a group modality to facilitate the individual's success in achieving and maintaining the maximum possible level of independent functioning. Group Facilitators work with individuals, within a group setting, in developing skills necessary to manage symptoms, obtain/maintain employment or housing, or to obtain services such as medical care, nutritional assistance, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance and resources fulfilling any basic need. Group Facilitators may utilize various evidence-based interventions or therapeutic modalities to assist individuals to manage stress and cope effectively during times of crisis or episodes of acute psychiatric symptoms. Group Facilitators also provide training to improve communication and interpersonal behaviors to facilitate integration into the community and to develop natural community supports through social/civic organizations, advocacy groups, religious or cultural affiliations, and/or interpersonal relationships. Work is performed under the general supervision of an LPHA with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Services are provided through a trauma-informed and person-centered lens, striving to promote a more balanced life and are not solely focused on symptom reduction.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Integral Care employees are to strive to maintain a trauma sensitive workplace, to embrace trauma sensitive and informed practices, and to foster a supportive and welcoming environment of care.
