A school district in Williamsburg, KY, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support to students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract position spans the full academic year, starting August 25 and concluding May 25, with a commitment of three days per week. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students PreK-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and learning needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights for student support
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district and legal standards
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
