Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in the Country Club Hills area. This contract role spans the entire school year and offers the opportunity to provide critical social-emotional support while collaborating with educators and families to enhance student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Caseload of approximately 60 students, addressing diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and external agencies to support student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience working within a K-12 school system preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Based in Joliet, Illinois, within the Country Club Hills area
